St. Louis Apartment Association Supports Hatching Hope

SLAA News,
Just a reminder to our members:  The St. Louis Apartment Association supports the efforts of Hatching Hope, a 501c3 not for profit, whose mission is to support residents that have been displaced from their apartment home due to fire or other disaster.

The St. Louis Apartment Association announced their support of Hatching Hope in April 2019.

Hatching Hope was Co-Founded by Keli Lynch-Wright and her son Ashton Wright to support residents that have been displaced from their apartment homes due to fire or other disasters.

Often displaced residents are placed into a vacant apartment home or even in the clubhouse until a plan is devised for the next steps. Hatching Hope coordinates care packages for residents: Disaster Relief Comfort Kits for adults; Little Kids Doing Big Things for children; and Disaster Relief Kits for Pets.   SLAA has purchased all of the above, and have them available to distribute when a disaster occurs.

SLAA's community awareness committee organizes fundraising events such as our summer bowing social and our winter holiday social and silent auction. Proceeds from these events enables SLAA to purchase the above personal care kits.

Most importantly, if your property experiences any type of disaster from a tornado, severe storms, floods or fire, please contact the SLAA office at 314-205-8844 or info@slaa.org.  We will contact the property to see how we can assist.

There is no greater feeling than that of helping others. Join us in this effort to make a difference across the state of Alabama!
