Dawn Thurman

Dawn graduated from Blackburn College in 1998 with a major in Interdisciplinary Arts with a concentration on Public Relations. Her years at Blackburn, one of eight work colleges in the U.S., prepared her to to be flexible, take initiative, embrace change and work closely with others. She was quickly hired by Coldwell Banker Gundaker in the Marketing Department. She worked in various capacities, but always serving the Sales Associates. In 2007, Dawn decided to return to school to pursue her Master of Management Degree from Fontbonne University. Upon graduation, she was ready for a new challenge. Dawn eventually started her own Marketing Consulting Firm, DE Thurman Marketing where she continued to serve many Coldwell Banker Gundaker agents and offices as high priority clients. She was part of the CBG family for over 15 years.
Dawn stepped away from CBG to join the Consort Homes team. Being immersed in real estate, working for a builder was a great next step. From managing websites to hosting events for the public, homeowners and Realtors, Dawn was the community's "face of Consort".
Leaving Consort was a tough decision and one that created a few set backs. Now however, Dawn is the new face of Blind Ambition STL. You will see Dawn at many networking, chamber of commerce and HBA events. Her new role includes building a relationship with community leaders, homebuilders, general contractors and other service industry professionals.
