Maintenance Technician

Gundaker Commercial Group, Inc. is seeking a part-time, experienced maintenance technician to join our team. The candidate will oversee all aspects of maintenance for the commercial property management division. This position performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the property meet the Company's standards for cleanliness, appearance, and overall functionality. Works closely with the property manager to ensure safe operation of commercial properties. Ensure all maintenance and general repair services on office, retail and multi-family properties are completed in a timely fashion based on priority. Perform other duties that may be set by the property manager; completing all assigned duties which may change from time to time according to resident needs and working circumstances. This position could lead to full-time position.
Position Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of commercial/multi-family maintenance experience preferred or related experience.
- This position will require flexibility.
- Must be in good physical condition.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Good written and oral communications skills; ability to communicate with others.
- Manage all tenant concerns and complaints with finesse and in a caring, polite, and professional manner.
- Promptly respond to tenant/manager work requests.
- Ability to prioritize, problem solve, multi-task and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic, stable work history, good attendance, and punctuality.
- Proficient computer and email skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
- Universal HVAC certification strongly preferred.
