Gundaker Commercial Group is a full-service commercial real estate company providing Brokerage, Asset Management, and Corporate Services in the St. Louis metropolitan area and currently seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a portfolio consisting of office, medical, retail and flex-space buildings.

The Commercial Property Manager provides excellent service to Client and tenants and ensures that all properties are well maintained and kept in optimal and safe conditions.

Primary duties include but are not limited to budgetary and financial overview, obtaining bids, scheduling and monitoring maintenance and repairs, lease administration, overseeing contractors, corresponding with tenants, and working with building owners.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a comparable field is preferred. OR Real Estate License/Real Estate Certification
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience working as a commercial property/facility manager is required.
  • Above-average knowledge of building systems including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications, codes, and handbooks - preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education/experience and experience will be considered.
  • Knowledge of Yardi, TRANE, and other commercial Property Management software is required.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft software (Excel, MS Word, and Outlook).
  • Travel required to multiple on-site locations.
  • Ability to prioritize, problem solve, multi-task and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Strong administrative and computer skills required (Microsoft Office, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy; fast worker.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Professional, courteous, and able to interact with tenants in person, via phone and e-mail.
  • Strong work ethic, stable work history, good attendance, and punctuality.
  • Previous experience in a commercial property management office setting preferred.
