Project Coordinator - Catalyst Property Solutions
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team! The duties include project planning, scheduling, and job tracking for a General Contractor remodeling apartments and the community. Strong organizational skills, time management, detail-oriented and excellent multi-tasking is imperative. This person will assist Project Managers and Superintendents with organizing and controlling project activities through communication, scheduling, documentation and coordination with all parties. Ensuring smooth relations between existing tenants during construction inside their apartments is a crucial responsibility. This is a high energy, fast paced environment that requires an extremely detailed and efficient individual.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager with project management scheduling
- Support all departments with administrative duties
- Assist property management with coordination of construction activity inside occupied apartments
- Schedule city inspections and obtain city permits
- Obtain pricing, bids from subcontractors
- Support in scheduling specialty trades
- Capture change orders throughout life-span of the project(s)
- Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met
- Maintain required project documentation and prepare weekly minutes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or other related fields preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred
- Excellent, proven service during high-stress circumstances for customers
- Strong administration skills
- Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Excel, Google Docs, Docusign, Dropbox, Microsoft skills preferred
