The Assistant Manager of the Inspections Department serves an important role in maintaining and continually developing quality metrics, automation, and client services so that the department is always seen as the industry leader. S/he is seen as the go-to for process control and also possesses the knowledge necessary for connecting the big picture of multifamily inspection requirements with the day-to-day requirements for profitability. The Assistant Manager works closely with the Manager for assessing current performance and adapting processes to take advantage of continually evolving technology, which includes evaluating scheduling, automation, and client quality. The Assistant Manager is expected to be a self-starter that is aware of the surroundings for completing work that is aligned with the company’s Mission and the department’s objectives. This position may regularly conduct field inspections as a means for the observation necessary to make process improvements as well as serving as a backup for Inspectors when the need may arise from time to time.
The Assistant Manager should be prepared at all times to manage the department in the absence of the Manager.
