The position itself is a sales / management / solutions driven ‘jack of all trades’ for our clients and team members in all of our St. Louis service areas. Your goal is to sell. Manage, nurture and grow the customer base. Work with and recruit future team members to maximize market potential.

Primary Purpose:

We are one of the nation’s largest resurfacing companies for the apartment and multi-family housing industry. As an Outside Sales Representative you are responsible for selling all services related to the resurfacing industry. In addition to soliciting opportunities to provide quotes for cabinet door replacement and refacing. Also and most importantly, creating a positive relationship between the company, its existing customers, future and prospective customers as well as maintaining effective relationships with field and office personnel.

  • Be in the market daily soliciting new business
  • Identify customer needs and provide cost effective solutions
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations
  • Working in a team-oriented environment
  • Meeting key performance metrics such as sales, productivity and quality requirements
  • Strive to build a strong team in the field and maximize company customer base
  • Attend all local, state and regional trade shows and association groups
  • Become the “face of the franchise” in your market area [All Alabama markets]

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate professional phone etiquette
  • Demonstrate proficiency and be comfortable making sales calls
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion
  • Must display entrepreneurial spirit and be comfortable working remotely
  • Prior experience working as a vendor in sales is a plus
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, organization skills, and timeliness in order to meet customer service expectations
  • Demonstrates the ability to think analytically
  • Demonstrates a high degree of dependability and motivation
