SLAA’s Support of Hatching Hope Provides Comfort to Residents

The St. Louis Apartment Association announced their support of Hatching Hope in April 2019.  Hatching Hope coordinates care packages for apartment community residents that have been displaced from their apartment homes due to fire or other disasters.

SLAA's Community Awareness Committee oversees this effort and responds when a disaster occurs.  Recently, members from our community awareness committee, Jon Woodrome with Venturi Restoration, Jenn Heuer with BG Multifamily and Lindsy Harvey with Stonecreek stepped into action quickly when we were notified of two apartment fires in the St. Louis downtown area.  There were no serious injuries, however six adults and three children were displaced.

Jenn and Lindsy picked up care packages from Ample Storage, owned and operated by Kristin Whiteside, former member and huge supporter of the multifamily industry.  They delivered the packages to the property management leasing office as quickly as possible.

We thank Ample Storage, JJon Woodrome, Jenn Heuer and Lindsy Harvey for their dedication and commitment to make a difference for those in need!
