AMANDA MISTRETTA, Trainer – Prior to Zeffert, Amanda served as a Compliance Coordinator for an affordable housing property management company where she trained staff, conducted property audits, organized lease-ups on LIHTC new construction and acquisition/rehabilitation properties while overseeing compliance set-aside requirements which included Housing Credit, MMRB, SAIL, HOME, SHIP, HUD and other government assistance programs on all state and local levels for the company’s Florida and Georgia portfolio. Applying her Education degree from St. Petersburg College of Education, Amanda has a passion for training others and sharing her knowledge that she has gained throughout the last 12 years as an affordable housing property management professional.
“Back to Basics: Qualifying Households for Affordable Housing.” This workshop explores the common income qualification rules shared by the tax credit, HUD, HOME and bond rules. The various student rules, which do differ from program to program, are also covered in this comprehensive overview.
