SLAA 5th Annual Holiday Social
SLAA Members' Decked the Halls at their 5th Annual Holiday Social, Silent Auction and Ornament Raffle on Wednesday, December 5th!
175 SLAA members and friends stepped out for an evening of holiday fun; networking with their colleagues, enjoying dinner, and an opportunity to do a little shopping, all at one place!
Thirty-two, fun, unique and quite a variety of theme baskets were donated by members. Gundaker Commercial Group donated a basket which included a bottle of wine which will serve 100 people (Magnum), and restaurant gift certificates. This basket sold for $250.00. For this high sale, Gundaker won a cash prize of $200.00. Gundaker has donated that back to the SLAA Charitable Trust Fund. Thanks so much Gundaker Commercial Group!
The ornament raffle was introduced 4 years ago. Over 80 ornaments were donated by members also. This raffle brought in $570.00. Debbie Scaduto and her team from Waterford West left with some holiday spending money, 1/2 of the cash sales totaled $285.00. Happy spending!
Two Men And A Truck donated the most ornaments, 19 hand made even! That makes them the winner of the cash prize of $100.00! Congratulations and many thanks! And, another round of applaud to all the companies for donating ornaments.
