Educational Fall Showcase & Seminar Educational Fall Showcase & Seminar

"You can bet on a sure thing... SLAA is here for you!

This year's Educational Fall Showcase & Seminar, which took place on Thursday, October 12th, was a huge success!

Due to the steady growth of our association, the showcase was moved to a larger facility this year. SLAA was able to host 65 exhibitors this year at the St. Charles Convention Center, with over 350 property management attendees there to join in the fun!

To kick-off this exciting event, Nadeen Green, Senior Counsel, from For Rent Magazine, presented the ABC's of Fair Housing to over 150 attendees. As in the past, Nadeen finds ways to make learning FUN! SLAA would like to thank Nadeen and our For Rent Magazine team here in St. Louis for sponsoring this seminar.

Another new addition - the SLAA Bookstore. The bookstore was introduced this year to encourage our members to continue to educate themselves. Several publications were available for purchase, focusing on "customer service", "marketing", "self-promotion", and maintenance. This too was well received by our membership.

The best news yet - six new companies came on aboard this month, just so they could participate in the showcase. We welcome our newest members: Buckingham Pest Control, Conservice, Mr. Sandless, Answer Midwest, Reinhold Electric, and Plant Telecom. We hope you enjoyed yourself.

We are looking forward to next year! Mark your calendar today – we are set for Wednesday, September 26th, 2007!
